Cancellation & Refund Policy

Things come up. Here's how to cancel or reschedule, and what happens with refunds.

Rescheduling an appointment

The fastest way to reschedule is to reply to your booking confirmation email or call (747) 335-1337. There's no fee to reschedule with at least 4 hours' notice — we'll find a new time that works.

Cancelling an appointment

  • More than 4 hours before the appointment: cancel at no charge.
  • Within 4 hours of the appointment: a $25 short-notice fee may apply, since the slot likely can't be filled.
  • No-show (no contact within 15 minutes of the scheduled start): a $50 no-show fee applies and any future booking requires the fee paid in advance.

Genuine emergencies (illness, family events, work emergencies) waive the short-notice and no-show fees — just let us know.

If the device needs replacement hardware

Sometimes a device turns out to need replacement parts or is beyond economical repair — a failed motherboard, a dead display panel, etc. We'll tell you up front and help you decide whether to replace, refurbish, or buy used. Diagnostic time spent on-site is still billable, since the visit happened, but you'll always have a quote before any repair work begins.

Parts already ordered may be non-refundable depending on the supplier; we'll let you know before placing any non-returnable order. Parts carry the manufacturer's warranty (typically 90 days to a year). See the Terms of Service for the full picture.

Membership cancellations

Memberships are month-to-month with no commitment. Cancel any time by emailing hi@foothillcomputerrepair.com or calling (747) 335-1337. Your remaining paid period stays active through the end of that billing month; partial-month refunds are not provided. Included hours don't roll over.
